GIUP TRADING LECTURE 1: ADVANCED INTRODUCTION

90 minutes for £18 (student rate only):

1. Market making vs. proprietary trading across different instruments + example of trades
2. Important financial news/macro indicators/fundamentals, their interpretation and their effect on different assets
3. Overview of technical analysis and its use in trading
4. Intra-market correlation between asset classes and historic changes
5. Macro outlook & recent news

Additional to the 90 min lecture, the speaker's have kindly offered to talk about:

6. Converting your internship to a full time offer and the ‘on the job' expectations junior analysts are judged against.
