LSE Russian Business Week is a weeklong project organized by LSE Russian Business Society in February 2009 and hosted by the LSE. The week will consist of series of daily talks in English given by some of the top 20 businessmen from Russia.
We are inviting speakers from diverse backgrounds to cover financial, business and strategic developments in Russia. After the closing event, which will be chaired by LSE Director Howard Davies, the society is organizing a reception to give the participants an opportunity to openly approach and discuss the issues raised during the week. Currently sponsored by Russian Railways, Morgan Stanley and KPMG.
The actual topic of the lecture is up to speaker’s own discretion, however the overall theme of lectures and seminars will tackle present and future challenges, perspectives and potentials of Russia from economic and business perspective.
The topic of each lecture will be finalised close to the date and we will inform the members of the press.

| Time slots above are booked in an “Old Theatre” venue in LSE capable of hosting up to 400 people. Above is the proposed time schedule, but given the nature of speakers, there inevitably will be some changes between the time slots. We will inform you if any changes take place as soon as possible. We are also aiming to have a private interview session between a speaker and press representatives after each lecture. This is subject to no prior exclusivity agreements or obligations held by the speaker. | |
