What is The Wall Street Journal Europe Future Leadership Institute?

The Wall Street Journal Europe Future Leadership Institute is a Wall Street Journal Europe platform designed to bridge the gap between universities and industry. The Institute organizes an on-going series of seminars and networking opportunities structured to bring together industry leaders and university students in forums where they can exchange their views and concerns on local and global issues and find solutions.

The Institute contributes in a tangible way to the development of skills in finance, economics and international business from a global perspective which will aid future leaders to succeed in their international careers. The creation of The WSJE Future Leadership Institute reflects The Wall Street Journal Europe's strong commitment to excellence in education. The Future Leadership Institute is currently sponsored by ELP, Executive Learning Partnership, strategy and learning architects.

The Institute is a tool to:

  • strengthen the relationship between The Wall Street Journal Europe and the European student community. We strongly believe that our future readers are to be found at the universities. We also believe that our readers have the capacity and the ambition to become future leaders in their profession and society in general.
  • research topics that live in today's student society
  • bring university and industry together
  • attract more sponsors to the education program consisting of delivering 12,000 newspapers daily to 165 universities across Europe.

The Wall Street Journal Europe Future Leadership Institute reaches out to future readers and potential sponsors by:

  1. organizing seminars in universities
  2. organizing ‘Wall Street Journal Europe Networking Tables' at third party conferences (only conferences with a clear educational goal, for example conferences where industry leaders have a forum, especially if the forum consists of leaders talking about leadership issues)
  3. sponsoring student clubs (only clubs agreeing in co-organizing quality seminars together with The WSJE Future Leadership Institute)
  4. offering space in The Wall Street Journal Europe newspaper branded as The Wall Street Journal Europe Future Leadership Institute, providing the opportunity for university partners, students and sponsors to highlight their programs, seminars and conferences.
