Executive Education Ranking: ESMT in Top 15 in Europe and only German Business School Listed

ESMT European School of Management and Technology has been ranked 13th in Europe and 27th in the world in this year's Financial Times Executive Education rankings only eight years after its founding. As the highest new entrant and the youngest business school in the Top 30, ESMT is the only school from Germany to make the list.In the ranking for open enrollment programs, ESMT placed 21st in the world. The school saw further success as its customized executive education programs climbed 10 places from last year to 34th globally.
Professor Lars-Hendrik Röller, President of ESMT, commented, "This is an important milestone for ESMT. As a newcomer from Germany, we are providing excellence in executive education and have established our open and customized programs as amongst the best in business schools worldwide."

The Financial Times annual business school rankings are based on surveys conducted among the schools' clients and participants. Sixteen criteria are applied, including preparation, course design, teaching materials, teaching faculty, and follow-up. The full results showed:
- ESMT ranked 27th overall of Top 50 business schools globally for executive education and 13th in Europe
- Open programs ranked 21st overall and Top 10 in Europe
- Customized programs ranked 34th worldwide and 13th in Europe
- ESMT was the only German-based institution ranked
- The school's strengths were shown to lie in its international clients, repeat business, faculty diversity, par-ticipant follow-up and facilities.
ESMT was founded by 25 leading German companies to meet the need for an international business school in the country. Dr. Daniel Dirks, Head of Group Human Resources for Allianz SE, one of the founding organizations, says, "ESMT's ranking as the only German business school confirms that the school is on track and is consistently providing excellent executive education that is relevant for today's international companies."
